Why should I sign up to CoPT?

CoPT is fast becoming a central resource to find qualified and reputable trainers. Having your profile on The Council of Personal Trainers is a mark of quality that shows you are keeping up with your training and have a passion for Personal Training. Your profile has many features and can even act like a website if you don’t already have one – complete with gallery, social media feeds, blogging, and an educational timeline. Prospective users contact you directly through your profile.

How do I pay for CoPT?

There is no charge for your CoPT (Council of Personal Trainers) profile. 

Why are some qualifications approved?

We are continually assessing course providers and adding to our list of approved educators and their courses. Please see Education Providers page for further details. If you have been on a course that is not approved by us but you feel it was exceptionally good, please contact us with details of the course and the provider.

What happens if a customer/user/client complains about me?

If we receive a complaint we will first ask them for further information. We will then contact you and enquire about the issue. Each case will be looked at fairly and impartially, and on an individual basis. We do reserve the right to remove profiles that have received complaints without providing a refund. In many cases, we will work with you to resolve the issue with the client and hope to keep the profile online where it is fair to do so.

Do you cover the area I work in?

CoPT covers the whole of the UK and so no matter where you are based you can join CoPT. If you are wondering due to there not being any trainers from your area on our site don’t worry. We encourage that you take advantage of this as you will be far more likely to stand out!
